Waterfront Hall Extension, Belfast

From the initial project order in December 2014 to its successful handover in January 2016, Brankin Engineering have worked closely with the clients design team using BIM to help both coordinate and develop a model that ensures that we provide a product that not alone adequately provides ventilation to the large convention centre but also by helping them value engineer by means of cost effective design solutions .

Project planning was a key success factor due to the restricted site access and integration with the existing services in the Waterfront Hall and Hilton Hotel. This was achieved by working closely with our clients at manufacturing stage and also by carrying out various site surveys to seamlessly incorporate new and existing services while keeping disruption to the live building to a minimum.

Olympia Leisure Centre, Belfast

Brankin Engineering have recently started the new Olympia leisure centre on the Boucher Road in Belfast. We will be installing all ventilation to a building consisting of pool areas, spas, gyms and offices. The particularly high specifications have us using chlorine resistant paint to stop corrosion in pool/wet change areas and also using our Flamebar BW11 Fire Resistant Ductwork.

This project is due to be handed over to our client in September 2016.

Prime Four Business Park, Aberdeen

Brankin Engineering will be starting in March the next phase of Prime Four Office park in Aberdeen. The ventilation system is feed from AHU’s on the roof top plantroom through risers feeding a typical office install. The supply ductwork will be fed to A/C units, Extract system feed within the ceiling void and a central core toilet extract system. Our Flamebar BW11 fire resistant product will be used for the kitchen extract system. The ventilation has been designed and co-ordinated to a high standard making the manufacturing and installation process seamless.

Almac Health Services

We have recently completed the renovation of an existing top floor laboratory to run independently to the rest of the building. This was achieved by working closely with Vaughan Engineering services in providing a cost effective design that meets the consultants requirements and also by carrying out an extensive survey that could integrate the new a AHU situated on the roof along with its associated ductwork to service this area.
